Testing..
I’m hoping that the recent problem with new post notifications to rusty duck subscribers might have been fixed. If it has you should have received this post via the ‘official’ email from WordPress.
Can I have half a dozen yes’s (or even hallelujahs) in the comment box if it did get through?
Many thanks, J.
It’s a big yes from me.
Thank goodness!
Yes, loud & clear, hallelujah! 🙂
Phew!
Just fine on my end! These things are SO frustrating!
They certainly are. Anything with technology in fact. Lovely when it works, but..
Yep!

Hooray!?? we’ve received a mail from someone called d.onotreply at WordPress. It’s a WordPress success I say.
Fingers crossed. They’ve managed to get one post notification through before and then the door slammed shut again. The next post will be the real test I reckon.
And another yes 🙂

Hopefully it will work now.

Hi Jessica, I received your email but not the WordPress one, and I did check junk. Boo Hoo! Cheers from Brisbane.
Hi Sam. If it was the WordPress email it would have shown an image and then the whole text of this post, excluding the comments. Is that what you had?
Brisbane.. another place I would love to be. Have a nice warm day and welcome to rusty duck.
Yes – seems to be working.
I just hope it stays that way. But at least I’ve found out who to contact, if it goes wrong again.

I don’t think I’m subscribed to email post notifications, I see your posts in the reader or via my bookmarks, but I’m glad you’ve got it sorted out. 🙂
Thanks Val. I’m hoping it’s sorted.

A big Yes from Mid Cornwall
Marvellous! Thanks Kathleen and welcome to rusty duck.
Yes got it!
🙂
Yea, got it! I always assume the fault is our end! 🙂
Me too. Our broadband is so utterly dreadful I tend to blame everything on that usually.
Wow – how brilliant to get all those messages from around the globe. Probably not worth the hassle of having the problem in the first place, but good all the same. I don’t use the email feed very often and tend to rely on the WordPress reader. That can be challenging too as people tend to drop off the feed and it is usually some time later that I remember I haven’t heard from someone for a while.
I ought to have a look at the WordPress reader. I use Feedly but that has let me down in the past.
