Oh dear. A good excuse to put your feet up for a bit…?

      I wish! 🙂

We have a mohican, too – rain stopped play and I was soooooo close to finishing, too.

Our lawn is so small we can usually spot the rain clouds coming and still have time to mow it.

It might be the time of year for it, as ours has gone too. I had to finish it off the best I could with the strimmer….

Could it be a plot by lawnmower manufacturers to make sure we get them serviced before winter?

As the saying goes, there’s always something…

Indeed. There’s so little lawn, it only takes a few minutes to mow. Just enough for the mower to warm up sufficiently to conk out.

Ditto what the others said. Frustrating. We ended up hiring someone to mow up at the cottage. The grass was so long. Good luck!

With all the rain this summer it was already hard to keep up with the mowing here. A new spark plug has been purchased so maybe that will fix it.

Hmmm.. I wonder if Poldark is free this week? 🙂 🙂

Oh no. I hope you’ve got a good pair of shears.

    • Jessica September 10, 2016 at 10:05 pm - Reply

It’s a shame the ducks can’t nibble it. And needless to say the rabbits are far too busy up on the bank.

Perhaps you should consider strimming some crop circles into the long grass for now?

    • Jessica September 10, 2016 at 10:06 pm - Reply

      That would be fun 🙂

Oh no! They always stop working when the lawn is partially mowed too, don’t they.

    • Jessica September 10, 2016 at 10:08 pm - Reply

They do. Mike kept going for a bit but got about six feet only for the mower to give up again.

Perhaps I could lend you my sheep?

      Yay!

Ooh dear, the ducks look befuddled 🙂
Over here, you can rent out herds of goats complete with their own goat protector dog.
Just temporary of course until you get the mower up and running again.

I’ll keep it handy for Christmas 🙂

We no longer have any grass so no more mowing!

    • Jessica September 13, 2016 at 9:30 pm - Reply

That sounds like a good plan 🙂

Mr C would always love that excuse not to mow the lawn 😉

    • Jessica September 21, 2016 at 9:35 am - Reply

It wouldn’t be so bad if the mower hadn’t died half way through!

I'd love to hear from you..
