Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:40 pm - Reply I’m certainly going to try, not sure how easy it will be though. I’m hoping there will be plenty of movement! Jo April 20, 2013 at 1:38 pm - Reply There’s never the right battery around when you need one. Can’t wait to find out if it works. Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:42 pm - Reply It’s infuriating isn’t it. We have batteries galore and they’re all the wrong size! Countryside Tales April 20, 2013 at 1:42 pm - Reply You know it’ll only take him a handful of hours to work out how to manage it…. Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:44 pm - Reply But they will be a seriously entertaining handful of hours.. CherryPie April 20, 2013 at 2:39 pm - Reply I can’t wait to see the results of this one 🙂 Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:44 pm - Reply Me neither.. Issy April 20, 2013 at 5:19 pm - Reply Oh my gosh ~ you have to know I’ll need to find one of these for myself to use! lol Simply can not wait for updates and pictures once you have it battery-enabled 🙂 Issy Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:51 pm - Reply It comes from America, you’ll probably get it for half the price I paid! haggiz April 20, 2013 at 5:27 pm - Reply Word on the squirrel street is that there is a new ‘funfair’ ride to play on at Rusty Duck Towers! Look forward to photos Julie x Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:54 pm - Reply I shall charge them an entrance fee. As for the scorecard I think it’s now ‘Advantage rusty duck’ !! Jill Chandler. April 20, 2013 at 6:07 pm - Reply Best laugh I have had all day!!!! Jessica April 20, 2013 at 7:56 pm - Reply You ain’t seen nothin’ yet. I hope… snowbird April 20, 2013 at 6:22 pm - Reply That looks good fun! Pain about the lack of batteries!xxxx Jessica April 20, 2013 at 8:02 pm - Reply It reminds me of Christmas toys when I was a kid. My Dad ALWAYS forgot the batteries.. Vera April 20, 2013 at 7:33 pm - Reply Drat! Squirrels get a reprieve! Jessica April 20, 2013 at 8:05 pm - Reply I wouldn’t want to hurt them. They might be dizzy for a bit though… Heda April 21, 2013 at 6:48 am - Reply Ah that Acme company, there’s always a catch even in the most perfect contraption. So the roadrunner er squirrel gets to eat again another day?!! Jessica April 21, 2013 at 8:06 pm - Reply We shall see, we shall see.. but like Wile E. Coyote I do not give up!! Rose H April 21, 2013 at 9:28 am - Reply Anyone remember the song ‘Dizzy’? It’s the new squirrel anthem 😉 Hilarious! x Jessica April 21, 2013 at 8:14 pm - Reply Will we have a garden full of ‘drunken’ squirrels I wonder.. Rosie April 21, 2013 at 9:47 am - Reply Can’t wait to see the photos, in fact it would have to be a short video to get the full effect! Maybe they will like it and think they are at a squirrel version of Alton Towers – I look forward to the next stage in the story of ‘twirl – a -squirrel:) Jessica April 21, 2013 at 8:16 pm - Reply Heaven forbid that they like it..!! Crafty Gardener April 21, 2013 at 9:58 pm - Reply I think we need one of these feeders. Would love to see one in action. I found my way here from a link on Veg Plotting. Great blog, love your header photo. I’ll be back again. Jessica April 21, 2013 at 10:28 pm - Reply Hi there and welcome to rusty duck! The squirrels are a real problem. Being surrounded by trees we are overrun with the things and they eat all the food that we put out for the birds. I don’t want to harm them.. just gently persuade them to go find their nuts elsewhere!! Judith April 21, 2013 at 10:14 pm - Reply Ha. The squirrels’ lucky day. So looking forward to battery operated squirrel action… Jessica April 21, 2013 at 10:33 pm - Reply I have tried everything else.. this has to work! Wendy April 21, 2013 at 10:54 pm - Reply Well, I’m now looking forward to seeing a giddy squirrel beat the feeder. I expect he will in the end, but it will be fascinating to see how. Jessica April 21, 2013 at 11:07 pm - Reply Fun too… !! BadPenny April 22, 2013 at 8:55 am - Reply Batteries not included then ! I love your matches with the squirrels & can’t wait for the game to start ! ( and the results of course ) Jessica April 22, 2013 at 10:14 am - Reply I shall have ’em Penny, fear not. Sue April 22, 2013 at 1:14 pm - Reply It’s always the way isn’t, or you find a multi pack of AA batteries when all you want is two AAA. You HAVE GOT to film this in action once you do get the batteries, it could be hilarious 🙂 Jessica April 22, 2013 at 1:33 pm - Reply I will try my best Sue.. I’ve not done a video before, let alone put one on the blog. That could be hilarious too 🙂 Simone April 22, 2013 at 4:15 pm - Reply Let’s hope they don’t treat it like a fairground ride and be queueing up to use it!!! Jessica April 22, 2013 at 5:27 pm - Reply Let’s hope.. Josephine April 23, 2013 at 4:36 am - Reply As you already know, I’ve had it with the squirrels and their destructive ways ! My neighbour had one of those twirling squirrel deterents, it entertained us immensely, just spent a lot on batteries 🙂 Good Luck with yours … ~Jo Jessica April 23, 2013 at 8:55 am - Reply They can be a real problem can’t they. So sorry about the robin’s nest. I have a feeling batteries are going to figure large here too.. £6 a fill up!! rachel April 23, 2013 at 12:04 pm - Reply There’s something about the unserious, toylike font on that packaging that makes me slightly doubtful……. And maybe I have too much respect for squirrels, but being twirled gently hardly seems like much of a deterrent to the determined thief… Jessica April 23, 2013 at 7:24 pm - Reply Packaging tells you a lot, I know. But I live in hope!! Janet/Plantaliscious April 29, 2013 at 11:06 pm - Reply Yep, we’re definitely going to need the video of the squirrel learning to conquor that apparetnly fiendish feeder… Jessica April 30, 2013 at 10:01 am - Reply I have it on my to-do list!
