Yes, I was out looking for more colours. Probably next week!
I’m not sure how frost proof the ducks are. It went down to 2 deg C last night. Better safe than sorry.
Hi Elaine, They are berries/fruits? I brought the trees with me in very large pots. And have managed to germinate them before, but lost the seedlings to the wet. I’m going to try again this year in the cold frame.
Great seasonal photos from your garden – I’m glad your plant pots and ducks are safely gathering in for the winter, they are so lovely it would be a shame to lose them to the frost:)
Thanks Rosie, the cold night on Saturday spurred us into a bit of action. Just three large plants in pots to get into the greenhouse now. And I’m not sure quite how!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Certainly cold here in North Yorkshire! Rayburn lit – infact has been for the best part of the summer! (Summer used with tongue in mouth!) lol!
Aww, the ducks have gone to roost and all in a row 🙂
Your flowers are just gorgeous, fading colours await.

Ooooh just look at those Autumn colours – just gorgeous and the last photo is beautiful – very artistic. Just lovely all!
Thanks, Oma. Autumn colours are just beginning, hopefully a good year.
I absoluely adore your runners
did you make them>?
I wish I’d thought of it! They are made by Barbara Roe in Hampshire. Link on my sidebar. I bought them because I just adore runners!
they are mucky buggers
do you want my 6?
They are. I remember. No manners either.
Gorgeous Autumn colours & rusty ducks in clay pots too … lovely x
Thanks Penny. Looking forward to more of the colour, just not so keen on the cold!
Gorgeous photos – especially the rusty ducks in a pot!!!
Thank you Simone, I’m really looking forward to the day they come back out!
Love those cornus berries/buds? Everything is changing fast in the garden and not much left to photograph – you seem to have managed it very well.

Quite. WHAT summer! Nothing better than the Rayburn for keeping you cosy.
